FALSC provides library and information resources and services to more than 1.3 million students, faculty, and staff across the 40 public colleges and universities of the state of Florida. UPDATE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Hello Everyone, We have just passed the summer solstice, along with the more unusual milepost of having worked from home now for over three months. Unusual is a word that could easily be applied to many aspects of the world around us! Nonetheless, FALSC staff continue to make strong progress on major projects, such as the Alma Primo migration, the implementation of OpenAthens and Consortia Manager, extraordinarily successful negotiations with e-resources vendors, and much more, as you’ll read about throughout this issue of the Update. FALSC BUSINESS OPERATIONS UPDATE At FALSC our continued goal is to provide superior customer service and ensure the institutions we work with feel confident and supported in any environment. This goal rings especially true as we respond to uncertainty around COVID-19. In light of the current environment, FALSC business operations will be conducted remotely until further notice . Although most FALSC staff will be working remotely during this period, regular email communication will be monitored. Please feel free to reach out to any staff members as needed.
